Sandi Lent has been working with clay for 30+ years, creating sculptural handbuilt and functional wheel forms. In addition to her passion for clay, she also has been interested in and working with hand-made paper and books.
After completing her undergraduate degree in Art Education with a concentration in Ceramics, she established her studio in upstate New York where she did both wholesale and retail fine craft shows throughout the Northeast and Florida until her permanent move to Florida 25+ years ago.
Sandi recently retired from Florida Atlantic University where she also completed a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics while in the position of Academic Advisor for students in the Department of Visual Arts & Art History.
Combining her interests and passion for both clay and paper has merged into a series of artist books.
